Structure

  •  Our company's dry-type iron core series reactor uses high-quality imported silicon steel sheets for the iron core, and the core columns are divided into uniform small sections through multiple air gaps. The air gaps are isolated by epoxy cloth boards to ensure that the air gaps do not change during long-term operation of the reactor.

  •  The end face of the iron core is made of high quality silicon steel sheet end face adhesive, which firmly connects the silicon steel sheets together, greatly reducing the noise during operation and having good moisture and dust resistance.

  •  The coil is of epoxy casting type, reinforced with epoxy glass mesh cloth laid inside and outside the coil. The F-grade epoxy casting system is used for casting in a vacuum state. The coil not only has good insulation performance but also high mechanical strength,and can withstand high current impact and thermal shock with out cracking.

  •  Epoxy cast coils do not absorb water, have low partial discharge capacity, and can operate safely in harsh environments.

  •  The upper and lower ends of the coil are equipped with epoxy pads and silicone rubber shock pads,effectively reducing the vibration during coil operation.

Purpose

Dry-type iron core series reactor is an important supporting equipment for reactive power compensation devices in power systems. After connecting power capacitors in series with dry- type iron core reactors,it can effectively suppress high-order harmonics in the power grid, limit closing inrush current and operating over voltage, improve the voltage waveform of the system, and enhance the power factor of the power grid,  playing a significant role in the safe operation of power capacitors an other power equipment.

Conditions Of Use

  • The altitude shall not exceed 1000 meters.

  • The operating environment temperature is -25°C to+45°C, and the relative humidity does not exceed 90%.

  • There are no toxic gases or flammable or explosive materials around.

  • The surrounding environment should have good ventilation conditions.

  • Special usage conditions can be designed separately.

Technical Performance Parameters

  • Dry type reactors have a smaller volume than traditional oil immersed reactors and hollow reactors, and are characterized by light weight, small space occupation, simple structure, and easy installation.

  • The temperature resistance level reaches F level (155°C); During normal operation, the temperature rise of the iron core and coil of the dry-type iron core reactor shall not exceed 90K.

  • Dry type iron core reactors can operate for a long time at 1.35 times the rated current.

  • The noise of dry-type iron core reactors shall not exceed the national standard.

  • The withstand voltage level of dry-type iron core reactors complies with the provisions of JB5346- 1998 "Series Reactors".
