Customer request: Objectives for System Harmonic and Reactive Power Control

(1) Improve the system power factor to 0.98 or higher;
(2) Reduce the impact of harmonics on the power grid and equipment;
(3) Improve transformer utilization;
(4) Increase the terminal voltage of the power grid.
 
The customer chose our equipment in 2015, and it is still operating normally as of 2026.

Feeder Cabinet Retrofit: Overcoming Space Limits to Resolve VFD-Induced Overheating

Customer request:  A large number of variable-frequency drives are connected to the transformers on Lines A and B, causing severe overheating at the copper busbars in the feeder cabinets. The on-site active filters are no longer functioning properly due to their age.
 
Remedial Measures:  Due to the high power factor and limited space on-site, the existing capacitor cabinet will be retrofitted into an active filter cabinet, and the outdated active filter will be replaced.

Grid Optimization: Resolving Low Power Factor and Harmonic Distortion

Customer request:  The power factor of the power grid is very low; the existing compensation capacity is insufficient, and harmonic distortion is significant, leading to instances of blown fuses and contactors.

Remedial Measures:  Replace the deteriorated capacitors and install a new SVG cabinet to improve power factor, as well as an APF cabinet to filter out harmonics.
