DNSVG response time: 4ms, can complete the mutual conversion from rated capacitance to rated inductive reactive power in a very short time, can meet the compensation of impulse loads, effectively suppress voltage flicker, and prevent power grid accidents.

  • High operating efficiency and excellent harmonic characteristics

The cascaded DNSVG adopts low loss fully controlled power devices, combined with dedicated control algorithms,to ensure performance with minimal loss and device efficiency of > 99%, it can effectively suppress high-frequency harmonic injection and output current distortion rate-2% when compensating reactive power. Under sufficient capacity, it has the functions of suppressing low order harmonics and compensating for imbalances.

  • Strong heat dissipation capability

The DNSVG air cooled cooling system adopts a patented intermediate air duct design, and the cabinet top fan adopts a long-life maintenance free outer rotor motor, low-noise design centrifugal fan to ensure the safety and reliability of the overall system.

  • Strong fault detection and protection capabilities

  When in standby mode, it has Hall detection and unit self checking functions. After the system runs it has self-checking and protection functions for voltage, current, temperature, etc, which can detect and automatically isolate faults in a timely manner,ensuring that the system will not affect the power grid and load end equipment. In addition, DNSVG products with bypass function can maintain stable operation during fault isolation.

Product Features

The main circuit of the DNSV series high voltage static reactive power generator adopts a cascaded chain structure of power units. The system can be divided into: incoming part, starting part, power part, control part, and cooling part Split cabinet type or split frame type.

  • Main circuit

The main circuit includes an incoming cabinet, a starting cabinet, and a power cabinet The incoming cabinet is equipped with an isolation switch K, a starting switch, a pre charging current limiting resistor R, and a connected reactor L The power distribution cabinet is also equipped with a converter chain, which is cascaded through identical power units. The power unit contains a DC support capacitor Cd and an IGBT converter circuit.

  • Pre charge current limiting resistor

The pre charging current limiting resistor R can effectively limit the current before the device starts, protecting the IGBT and DC support capacitor. This resistor has a great thermal capacity and can withstand repeated surge currents in a short period of time.

  • Connect the reactor

The converter chain is connected to the gid through a reactor L,which converts the output voltage of the converter chain into current and injects it into the grid,smoothing the ripple generated by the converter chain. This reactor is made of high-quality materials and designed with low magnetic density, featuring high linearity, low loss, and anti harmonic characteristics.

The main control system includes the main controller, power unit driver board, auxiliary control circuit, human-machine interface, and backend monitoring system.

The main controller consists of various functional boards, which complete tasks such as AC signal acquisition, switch control, PWM pulse distribution, status detection, and system protection.

  • Power unit driver board

DNSSVG adopts a LCD touch screen with complete data display (tables, curves, bar charts, information storage, and historical data query functions; The friendly interface design ensures that operators can operate the equipment safely and conveniently.
