Functional Features

The DNE-C series intelligent power capacitor compensation device is a new generation of reactive power compensation equipment for 0.4KV, 50HZ low-voltage distribution, which is efficient, energy-saving reduces line loss, improves power factor and power quality. It consists of an intelligent measurement and control unit, a synchronous switch circuit, a line protection unit, and two low voltage power capacitors. Replace the conventional automatic reactive power compensation device composed of loose components such as fuses, composite switches or mechanical contactors, thermal relays low voltage power capacitors, indicator lights etc. connected by wires inside and on the cabinet surface. By changing the bulky and cumbersome structural mode of traditional reactive power compensation devices, the new generation of low-voltage reactive power compensation equipment has the characteristics of better compensation effect, smaller size, lower power consumption, cheaper price, more cost savings, more flexible use, more convenient maintenance, longer service life, and higher reliability, adapting to the higher requirements of modern power grids for reactive power compensation.

Main Features

Zero crossing switching

Zero crossing voltage input,zero crossing current cut-off, small in rush current, no arc pulling and no harmonic injection greatly improve the voltage and current withstand of the equipment, reducing 80% of energy consumption in conventional capacitor cabinets.

Phase compensation

Implement single-phase separate compensation to solve the imbalance of three phase loads, Compensate separately for any phase with a large reactive power deficit to achieve the optimal compensation effect.

Temperature protection

Equipped with a built in temperature sensor, it can achieve over temperature protection in the event of capacitor over heating caused by over-voltage, over -harmonics, large leakage current, and high ambient temperature. This means that the capacitor will automatically cut off and shut down after exceeding the set temperature, achieving the purpose of protecting the equipment.

Lack of phase protection

When any one of the three phases A, B, and C in the power grid loses phase, the unused capacitor banks will no longer be put into operation, and all the capacitor banks that have been put into operation will be taken out of service to achieve the purpose of protecting the equipment.

Over current protection

When the voltage of the power grid is too high and the harmonics are too large, it can cause capacitor overload operation. When the current of the capacitor exceeds the set value, the capacitor will automatically exit operation to avoid the danger of explosion caused by long term overload operation and

Voltage and current harmonic protection

When the harmonic of the power grid reaches the set value, the unused capacitor banks will no longer be put into operation, and l the capacitor banks that have been put into operation will be shut down to prevent equipment damage caused by excessive harmonics.

Alarm event recording and switching statistics query function

Store alarm protection data for power on, over current, over temperature, and harmonics, as well as records of relay switching times.

High reliability

Adopting a decentralized control mode, it completely solves the problem of frequent damage to traditional contactless relays, contactors, and electromechanical composite switches.

Maintainable

Equipped with self diagnostic function, it can reflect electronic switch, capacitor, air switch, intelligent module, network communication and other faults on the LCD screen, which is conducive to on-site fault finding When the capacitor is damaged,it can be easily and quickly replaced as a single unit.
